ASUS and Xbox have announced the ROG Xbox Ally X20, a new handheld console in the ROG line created to mark the brand's 20th anniversary. The device is already open for pre-registration for those interested in receiving a notification about the start of sales.
The device is part of the ROG Xbox Ally family, which combines the functions of a handheld console and a Windows 11 PC. As a result, players will be able to access titles from Xbox Game Pass, Xbox PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, and other platforms.
The X20 edition stands out for its design with a translucent body and black and gold finish, in addition to a larger OLED screen. According to the manufacturer, the display should provide better image quality and more comfort during gameplay.
The company also presented the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 accessory, augmented reality glasses that project a virtual screen of up to 171 inches with a 240 Hz refresh rate. The glasses are compatible with previous models in the line and can be used both for gaming and for working in Windows.
ASUS has not disclosed the price or the exact launch date of the ROG Xbox Ally X20. The manufacturer has already begun collecting registrations from interested parties to notify them when sales open.
