Honor officially presented the Robot Phone this Wednesday (12/8), a smartphone with a movable main camera that works as a "companion," and opened pre-orders in China at 12,999 yuan.
The device's concept was shown in October 2025, and in March 2026 the company displayed a functional prototype. Now, the model arrives in the Chinese market in gray and silver.
Companion camera
The main camera has 200MP, a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and a lens with f/1.6 aperture. It sits on a moving mechanism that allows it to rotate, track objects, and "express emotions." According to the manufacturer, the camera supports more than 100 "gestures," such as waving and "dancing" to music.
The mechanism, which the company calls "the most compact 4D suspension," weighs 2.6 g and is 6 mm thick. The entire assembly fits into a body that is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 248 g.
The camera works together with the Honor Yoyo AI assistant, able to "observe" the environment, interact with objects, and perform tasks. The user can control it by voice, asking it to rotate or focus on a specific point.

In addition to the movable camera, the Robot Phone features a 200MP periscope lens with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and 2.7x optical zoom, along with a 50MP ultrawide.
The display is a 6.3-inch OLED with a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels, adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 6,800 nits. The battery has a capacity of 7,060 mAh.
The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The operating system is MagicOS 10, based on Android 16.
