Nintendo announced this Tuesday (25th) two new bundles for the Nintendo Switch 2 for the American market, with options that include Mario Kart World or the new Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. The bundles will arrive in stores after the console's suggested price rises to US$ 499.99 on September 1st.
The first bundle will be released at the end of September and will include the Switch 2, a digital copy of Mario Kart World and three months of an individual Nintendo Switch Online membership. The suggested price will be US$ 549.99, with savings of US$ 37.98 compared to buying the items separately.
The second option will arrive on October 22, alongside the release of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. The bundle will cost US$ 529.99 and will also include the console, the game in digital format, and a 90-day Nintendo Switch Online membership. According to Nintendo, the savings will be US$ 27.98.
Switch 2 will become US$ 50 more expensive
The Switch 2 was launched in the United States in June for US$ 449.99. With the adjustment scheduled for September, the suggested price of the device without a game will increase by US$ 50, reaching US$ 499.99.
The change also alters the comparison with the new bundles. The bundle with Mario Kart World, for example, will cost US$ 50 more than the bundle offered at the console's launch, which included the Switch 2 and the game for US$ 499.99.
Meanwhile Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will be released exclusively for the Switch 2. The game will have 12 motion-controlled events set on Wuhu Island, including bowling, boxing, archery, Power Cruising, and Thumb Wrestling.
Nintendo announced that pre-orders for the bundle with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will open soon through the Nintendo Store, Nintendo eShop, and participating retailers. The announced values are suggested prices and may vary by store.
