Emergent is an application-building platform that works two tracks in the same flow: web applications and mobile apps. The product description is the starting point and the result is a runnable application, with private hosting and custom domains.
The platform derives the backend from the data models defined while building, creates the persistence layer and organises collections and records. Authentication covers email, one-time codes and social login, with roles and permissions. A one-click LLM integration lets you add AI features to your own product.
Mobile apps come ready to export and publish to the stores. The code belongs to the user and can be downloaded, modified and hosted elsewhere; GitHub integration is available from the middle plan. On business plans, the platform supports customer-hosted databases and deployment inside the organisation’s private cloud, with SSO and role-based access control.
The company took part in the Y Combinator programme.
