Binance will shut down its cryptocurrency mining pool on November 10, 2026, at 7:00 UTC, after more than six years of operation. The decision, announced this Tuesday (13), will also affect cloud mining services, yield products and tools used by miners.
The shutdown will affect Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator. The exchange will also deactivate Stratum connection addresses, mining APIs, email notifications and hashrate alerts sent via Telegram.
The change requires direct action from users: mining contributions sent after the shutdown time will not be accepted, processed or credited. Equipment still connected to Binance's infrastructure will lose access to the pool.
Miners need to migrate equipment and settle balances before the shutdown
Miners will need to reconfigure their equipment to direct computing power to another pool before 7:00 UTC on November 10. Until then, Binance expects to maintain normal operation of the services.
Valid contributions received before the shutdown will be considered in the final calculation of rewards. After the shutdown, however, no new yields or benefits associated with the discontinued products will be generated.
Users with active positions in Pool Savings will need to cancel their subscriptions or request redemption of funds before the suspension. Pending rewards, balances, refunds and any settlements will remain subject to the rules of each product, account status and compliance checks.
The announcement also establishes an additional deadline for account registration regularization. Those who need to complete identification procedures to receive eligible amounts must do so by 23:59 UTC on November 10, seeking to avoid processing delays.
Another important limit involves access to records. Binance Pool pages will remain available for 14 days after the shutdown, allowing mining histories, account information and payment statuses to be viewed, when available.
This access will definitively end on November 24, at 7:00 UTC. Binance recommends that users save their reports and transaction histories in advance.
The exchange justified the decision as part of its ongoing review of products and services, without detailing a specific cause for the shutdown of the mining operation.
