BitMine Immersion Technologies raised its Ethereum position to 6,016,414 ETH, after acquiring another 15,112 tokens in the last week. With the update disclosed on Monday (5), the company states it controls about 4.9% of all ETH supply and is close to reaching its goal of holding 5% of the asset.

Considering the reference price of US$ 2,726 per ETH used by the company on October 4, the Ethereum position is worth approximately US$ 16.4 billion. When Bitcoin, cash, marketable securities and other investments are added, the assets reported by BitMine total US$ 17.4 billion.

The accumulation strategy began in June 2025. According to the company's chairman, Tom Lee, BitMine has bought ETH every week since adopting the treasury strategy. The company currently presents itself as the largest corporate Ethereum treasury and the second-largest crypto asset treasury among public companies, behind only Strategy.

Staking already involves 84% of ETH reserves

Most of this stock is already allocated to staking. BitMine reported having 5,067,309 ETH, equivalent to about 84% of its total position, committed to validation operations. The company estimates annualized revenues of approximately US$ 363 million with staking, considering an annualized yield of 2.63%.

If the entire ETH stock is placed in staking by the MAVAN platform and by partners, the company's projection rises to US$ 431 million per year, although the actual result depends on yield rates and Ethereum network conditions.

In addition to Ethereum, BitMine reported 214 BTC, US$ 643 million in cash and marketable securities, a US$ 180 million stake in Beast Industries and US$ 117 million invested in Eightco Holdings.

With 4.9% of the estimated supply of 122.1 million ETH, the company is now very close to the goal it calls “Alchemy of 5%”. BitMine did not report a date for completing the acquisition of the remaining percentage.
