The Supercell completed the full acquisition of Metacore on Monday (19), assuming 100% of the Finnish developer responsible for Merge Mansion. With the closing of the transaction, the game joins the buyer's portfolio, and its development team begins integration into the company's structure.

The completion was confirmed by Metacore in an official publication. The company reported that the professionals responsible for Merge Mansion have already started working as members of Supercell and will continue developing the game, with the support of the new owner's teams.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The transaction ends a process that began in May 2026, when Supercell announced its intention to acquire the remaining stakes in Metacore, of which it was already the main shareholder.

On August 31, the companies announced the signing of the agreement, with completion expected by the end of September. The actual closing, however, was only confirmed on October 19.

Merge Mansion joins Supercell's portfolio

Launched in 2020, Merge Mansion is a casual puzzle game in which players combine objects to restore a mansion and uncover the secrets of its characters.

The acquisition expands Supercell's presence in the casual games segment, adding the title to the portfolio that already includes Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars and Hay Day.

The strategy announced by the companies foresees the continuation of the development of Merge Mansion, leveraging Supercell's experience in operating and expanding mobile games. No immediate changes to the player experience were announced as a result of the completion of the purchase.
