The action RPG Phantom Blade Zero surpassed 4 million copies sold in the first 72 hours after its launch, according to an announcement released by the Chinese developer S-GAME on November 2. The game arrived on the market on October 29, 2026, with digital versions for PlayStation 5 and PC.
The result was announced by the title's official social media profile and represents cumulative sales on both platforms. The developer, however, did not disclose how many units were sold on each of them, nor did it provide a breakdown by region.
Developed in China with Unreal Engine 5, Phantom Blade Zero combines martial arts combat with fantasy elements and narratives inspired by wuxia, a traditional genre of Chinese fiction. The story follows Soul, a warrior accused of murdering his master, who has only 66 days to unravel a conspiracy and try to survive.
The proposal also incorporates influences from Hong Kong action cinema, with combat choreography and an arsenal that includes more than 30 weapons. The title marks the arrival of a new Chinese intellectual property in the international premium games market.
On PC, Phantom Blade Zero is available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. On PlayStation 5, distribution remains exclusively digital, while a physical edition is planned for 2027, still without a specific release date.
The four million units represent the sales volume reported by S-GAME, without any identified independent audit. The company also did not disclose the revenue corresponding to the sales, which makes it impossible to establish the revenue obtained during the first three days.
