A BULKHEAD announced on Tuesday (15) that WARDOGS surpassed 2 million copies sold, just five days after arriving in Steam Early Access. The tactical FPS, published by Team17, also surpassed 400,000 concurrent players during its first weekend.

The game was released on September 10 and had already reached 1.25 million copies sold on the same day, according to a previous statement from the studio. The new milestone adds about 750,000 units to the total initially reported.

The audience kept pace with sales. Data from SteamDB cited by VGC points to a peak of 428,666 concurrent players, while BULKHEAD itself had confirmed that the title surpassed the 400,000 concurrent users mark.

WARDOGS puts up to 100 players divided into three teams in battles over control zones, with vehicles, construction, environmental destruction, and progression systems based on money and experience. Currently, the game is available only for PC via Steam.

BULKHEAD expects the title to remain in early access for about one to two years, during which it plans to add maps, weapons, vehicles, and new systems. The studio also announced console versions with a release planned for 2028.
