The CD Projekt Red announced on Sunday (13) during BlizzCon 2026 that Cyberpunk 2077 and the expansion Phantom Liberty will be released on Battle.net later this year. The partnership with Blizzard will also bring The Witcher content to Diablo IV, including a skin inspired by Geralt of Rivia.
On Battle.net, players will be able to buy Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty separately or get the Ultimate Edition, which includes the base game and the expansion. CD Projekt Red has not yet announced a specific date for the debut on the platform, limiting the release to 2026.
The arrival expands the Polish studio's presence in Blizzard's ecosystem. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is already available for pre-order on Battle.net and will be released on September 29, while the new expansion Songs of the Past is scheduled for 2027.
Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on the new store almost six years after its original release. The game has already surpassed 40 million copies sold, while Phantom Liberty surpassed 15 million, according to figures released by CD Projekt Red itself in September.
Geralt arrives in Diablo IV as a Barbarian skin
The collaboration will also include a Barbarian skin inspired by Geralt for Diablo IV. The content can be redeemed by Battle.net players who pre-order The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Songs of the Past when it becomes available or buy the expansion after launch.
The skin will be the first The Witcher content in Diablo IV. CD Projekt Red has confirmed that other items or content related to the franchise will arrive in Blizzard's RPG in 2027, but has not yet detailed what will be included.
The partnership will also expand to another Blizzard franchise. In 2027, Overwatch will receive content based on Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, expanding the collaboration between the two companies' universes beyond game distribution on Battle.net.
